Located right on the edge of Dartmoor National Park (just five minutes from the famous Haytor Rocks) but still very much in touch with civilisation, our hotel is just a 7 minute drive from the A38.
Built in 1879, The Edgemoor Hotel was once Bovey Tracey Grammar School for boys and walking around it, the history is still very much alive today.
The Edgemoor is a family run hotel and being local, independent and unique is at the heart of everything we do. We pride ourselves on being professional but informal.
Here at The Edgemoor Hotel, everybody is welcome.

There are two sets of waterfalls at Canonteign today: the natural falls which have existed in this valley since time immemorial and the spectacular Lady Exmouth Falls, named after the 3rd Lady Exmouth and built under her direction in 1890.

|The Cromwell Arms||
There are 14 bedrooms at the Cromwell Arms in the heart of Bovey Tracey. One of them is a family room that can sleep up to 6, and the thing that I like is that they offer this room as "ideal for a group of people who are on a budget and don't mind sharing." What a wonderful way of putting it! Many groups of walkers are on a budget, so it's right, this is a good option. Add to that the fact that the pub offers good food, a pub quiz every Tuesday AND THAT there is also a therapy room for aromatherapy massage, reflexology and Reiki natural healing, then this looks just the place for a few nights away doesn't it?Pubs with rooms
