|The Elephants Nest||
The Elephant's Nest Inn is a quintessentially English - and Devonshire - country pub. The 3 generously sized en-suite B&B rooms are located in a newly built extension. Beautifully furnished with solid oak floors and under floor heating, all rooms have large Vi-Spring beds, soft goosedown duvets and pillows and luxurious soft furnishings. Being located in as remote a place as it is, great emphasis is placed on good food, although the pretentious 'gastro pub' description will not be heard here! The garden at the Nest is a 'must see'.Pubs with rooms
The newly built extension respects the original 16th century pub in both proportion and use of materials with the exterior clad in local stone. However inside they have some of the most up-to-date facilities in three generously sized rooms each with it’s own en- suite bath or shower room. Beautifully finished with solid oak floors and under floor heating. Dogs are more than welcome in the rooms for an additional supplement*
The breakfast menu, which is included in your tariff is truly exceptional and includes the following options:
I paid a visit to Penny at Brook Farmhouse and absolutely loved it! Ancient thatched farmhouse full of charm. Homemade biscuits to have with your tea. Easy access into Exeter. I thought that it had only one bedroom on offer, but actually there are 3 bedrooms which Penny will only let to one party, so it is most frequently used just as a double. Apart from the huge main bedroom there is a spacious double and a child's bedroom, again with a double bed on offer. They share a bathroom, but it's a great space at the top of your own private, steep, charming staircase plus your own roomy guest lounge.Bed & Breakfast
