The Plume of Feathers is a traditional historical Inn retaining many of the original features such as slate floors, wooden beams and granite walls and are ideally situated for walkers, hikers, geocaching and local attractions like HMS Dartmoor Prison Museum..

They have an enviable reputation for serving traditional home cooked dishes at affordable prices using the freshest, locally sourced produce.

The Plume of Feathers is the perfect place from which to explore the beauty of Dartmoor and the surrounding areas. They offer fabulous accommodation to suit all from relaxing weekend breaks to larger groups and parties.

They have 10 comfortable and stylishly decorated rooms all en suite with tea and coffee making facilities, TV and a full hearty, traditional, English breakfast is included. Please note that they do not accept pets in rooms incase of allergies. All rooms are in our newly renovated Lodge building located in a separate building away from the public house.  Prices quoted are per room per night

It offers riding over Dartmoor, Lessons and Livery for your horse whether it be short or long term. It is a famous prize winning stud with many horses, mares and foals to be seen.
