It is a Bed and Breakfast with a difference as it is separate accommodation from the main house with it's own front door and has lots of space to relax and super facilities. It sleeps from 1 to 4 guests but is only ever booked to one party of family/friends so that you will always have the lodge completely to yourselves. We accommodate stays from one night to however long you wish to stay and single occupancy is also available. Continental Breakfast is available or a Full Devonshire Breakfast is cooked each morning for guests in the main house Conservatory, if required. Red Barn, sleeps 6, Brentor, Dartmoor The Red Barn

This property is ideal for a busy active family who will appreciate the fact that there is a swimming pool with endless flow in house, an outdoor pool in summer, a tennis court, a games room, multi gym with exercise machines, pool table, table football and table tennis, and a 250 acre farm to romp around. 2 double rooms plus a twin and a cot. The Hemphouse, sleeps 5, Peter Tavy, near Tavistock, Dartmoor The Hemphouse

The Hemphouse has a delightful open-plan living room, kitchen and dining area, fronted with beautiful windows looking out over the valley towards Brentor. Situated in a smallholding where Chris and Ruth have their own chickens, goats, horses and sheep and lead a very sustainable way of life.  The Hemphouse has one single bedroom downstairs, with an en suite toilet and shower room. This room also contains the washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs, the landing area is bookended by a double bedroom on one end, and a twin bedroom on the other. There is one upstairs bathroom with sink, toilet and bath. “These are basic, without frills, solid and worthy lets. The curtains may well be slightly faded, but the welcome from Ruth and Chris is completely genuine. They want you to share their way of life, get close to their much loved livestock, go out and discover Dartmoor for yourself. Stay here and you will have a taste of the Good Life"

The Coachhouse is set on a lovely farmstead just 2 miles south-west of Lydford.  You are invited to go anywhere on the 250 acre working farm and help is always accepted, or alternatively you can enjoy lazing by the outdoor heated swimming pool! If the weather takes a turn for the worse, never fear the Coachhouse has it's own indoor 'endless' pool, sauna and games room. The property has 5 bedrooms (1 ensuite, double, twin, single and children's room with two sets of 3' bunk beds).  Tremendous freedom is offered and there are a number of activities for both children and adults.  Meals are also available in the owners house that is a B&B.

The Barn, sleeps 6, Dartmoor Holidays, Peter Tavy The Barn

This barn conversion with good views gets plenty of repeat bookings. Room for 6 plus a baby. Ruth Boswell told me that the barn is very family friendly rather than chic accommodation, and looking at the prices I see that it is very competitively priced. The highest charge in the school holidays is just £678and as low as £304 in low season. Babysitting on offer and stair gate, highchair and cot on request. Bed linen is included in the price but towels are extra. Some electricity (90 units) is included in the rental then charged.

Lowertown Farm, a 93 acre working farm sits nestled in a valley in the heart of Dartmoor, where a peaceful walk can take you from the top of Blackator to the banks of the River Dart through gorgeous wooded paths and winding country lanes. When Luke and Hannah Fursdon opened a Bed and Breakfast in their 500 year old farmhouse in 2009, these were just some of things they were excited to share with guests.
