Dinner at The Mill End Hotel

The Mill End Hotel has been in the ownership of Tara and Nick Culverhouse now for nearly two years. Jill Pendelton, the previous owner of Dartmoor Accommodation was a regular visitor to Mill End as it was just next door, however since taking ownership of the website in 2014 I had not had the pleasure of eating at the hotel, however after a call earlier in the year from Tara that has now all changed as she had asked us to do a ‘mystery shop’ food blog on the Hotel.

Dartmoor Walking Festival 2017

The first ever Dartmoor Walking Festival in 2016 was a great success and the very positive feedback really supported the idea of it becoming an annual event which is absolutely fabulous. Therefore Moorland Guides are now busy organising the 2017 event which will be held on the similar week at the end of August into September. The dates will be from Saturday 26th August to Sunday 3rd September inclusive which means that this will be the last bank holiday week of the summer.
