Easton Court is a Devon Longhouse that stands inside the boundaries of the Dartmoor National Park just one mile outside the delightful Dartmoor village of Chagford and close to the Teign Valley gorge and Castle Drogo, two of Dartmoor's best loved attractions. The "High Moor" can be seen from the door, and the coastlines of both Devon and Cornwall are about one hour's drive away.
Easton Court has five well presented en-suite double/twin bedrooms decorated in a traditional style that complements the age of the property yet have modern touches to make your stay more comfortable. The guest accommodation has its own entrance and they have fitted key-pad door locks so you can still arrive even if they are out. Rooms are available from 3pm.
All the rooms offer you flat screen colour televisions with integral DVD players and SKY Freesat channels, seating, alarm clocks, hair dryers, beverage making facilities and simply stunning views.
For inclement days, they have a small eclectic library of books, magazines and DVDs to help you while away the hours in the comfort of your room. They also offer a book swap for when you have finished your latest novel and would like something different.
Superior Rooms: The four "superior" bedrooms feature king-size and emperor double or twin beds, seating areas and pretty soft-furnishings. Three rooms are on the first floor and one on the ground floor and all are spacious and bright.
Room 5: This room is decorated in restful greens and has two windows. A large en-suite shower room, with double-size power shower, makes this a very popular choice. There is room for a temporary bed to be put up in this room.
Room 7: Having a big window to make the most of the stunning views, this first-floor room has an emperor double bed that can be made into a twin if needed and a large en-suite (bath with electric shower over). A temporary bed can be erected if needed.
Room 8: A first-floor dual-aspect room decorated in a soft yellow colour scheme with coordinating soft furnishings. This room has an en-suite bath with a "Mira" power shower over, and a vanity sink unit in the bedroom.
Room 10: Our largest room, on the ground floor, can be made as an emperor double or twin room. It also has a sofa-bed for extra guests. A modern en-suite shower room and easy access make this a very popular room.
Being located next door to room 11 and sharing the same private entrance, this room can be combined with room 11 as a family suite / unit offering accommodation for up to 6 people.
Classic Room: The classic bedroom is more modest in size but offers the same levels of comfort and facility as the superior rooms, and is located on the ground floor.
Room 11: This ground floor double room has a genuine Victorian cast iron & brass bedstead and a modern en-suite shower room. It is a cosy room but lacks nothing of the facilities of the superior rooms.
Being located next door to room 10, and sharing the same private entrance, this room can be combined with room 10 as a family suite / unit.
All of the rooms at Easton Court have breathtaking views over the gardens and beyond. Complimentary toiletries are provided and ironing facilities are available for guests' use on request.
Whilst they will always try to honour any request for a specific room, they retain flexibility to change the allocation to accommodate other bookings.
Car parking is available for all of the rooms at Easton Court
