  • Powdermills Pottery is housed in granite buildings that were once part of a nineteenth century gunpowder factory. It is found in the very centre of Dartmoor National Park in Devon, and is part of the Duchy of Cornwall estate. Powdermills is the home and workplace of potter, Joss Hibbs. In the Shop, her range of pottery is sold alongside work by other Dartmoor craft-makers. Cream teas are served in the courtyard in the Summer season, and intensive Throwing Courses are run year-round.
  • A great place for young children with activities such as feeding the animals, pony grooming, collecting the eggs, pony rides, putting the donkeys to bed at the end of the afternoon, and the pets corner is a delight for children of all ages.   • Torquay’s Dinosaur World, on Torquay’s inner harbour side, is the only exhibition of its kind in the south west. Full of amazing creatures, such as the terrifying T Rex, and the cute Triceratops, with fascinating fossils to discover, fun quizzes and dinosaurs to sit on, our fun interactive indoor exhibition brings the world of dinosaurs to life!

  • The workshops will be within the Dartmoor National Park in Devon, England, using Acorn Lodge as a base and will be for all levels of photographers who want to learn real wildlife photography. The photography workshop package includes as much as possible to help you learn and improve all the aspects of being a wildlife photographer from using your camera, through the picture taking process, to the end image and post production workflow.
  • This is where you will find England's highest waterfall with a huge 220 foot drop. Nature and wildlife trails.   • The National Trust property Castle Drogo is at Drewsteignton where the Gardens are open all year. Do see the gardens in the Autumn when they are full of rich colour. There is an interesting seed collection day each year, when the Castle gardeners explain how to do just that later on in the year. You need to bring envelopes! Find the date on my what's on page.
