  • Near to Tavistock. Award winning museum and visitor centre where friendly staff in costume chat with visitors. Exciting narrow gauge underground railway into the mine. This quayside family attraction runs alongside the very picturesque River Tamar. They have an occasional car show, and folk music event.
  • A great place for young children with activities such as feeding the animals, pony grooming, collecting the eggs, pony rides, putting the donkeys to bed at the end of the afternoon, and the pets corner is a delight for children of all ages.
