  • Moretonhampstead Motor Museum is home to a collection of over 120 vintage and classic vehicles including cars, motorcycles and light commercials from pre-1920s to the 1990s, plus motoring artefacts and automobilia. It is a great all-weather attraction
  • You can easily spend the whole day on the South Devon Railway because they're far more than a train ride!   • The BIG Sheep is one of Devon's family all weather top attractions who is probably best known for racing sheep! A day out at the attraction will have the whole family experiencing great fun! There's cute and cuddly animals to meet, feed and fall in love with. Hilarious animal shows to entertain the whole family and have you laughing out loud at the showmens witty jokes and antics!
  • A great place for young children with activities such as feeding the animals, pony grooming, collecting the eggs, pony rides, putting the donkeys to bed at the end of the afternoon, and the pets corner is a delight for children of all ages.   • Open this year from 23rd May to early September, this is the largest outdoor, freshwater swimming pool in Devon. The temperature of the water is maintained with solar pool covers. It is just 10 minutes walk from Chagford town centre and a few minutes drive from the A30. There is a small tea hut with snacks and Lifeguards always in attendance. There is a special pool for babies and young children and all children under 9 MUST be accompanied by an adult. Please be sure to check the pool's website for admission fees and opening times.
  • Enjoy Two 235m Zip Wires with Views over Dartmoor National Park. Go Ape’s first Tree Top Adventure in the South West. One of the best days out in Devon, if you’re looking for adventure activities near Exeter then you’ll enjoy an incredible 235m zip wire flying you from hilltop to hilltop followed by another (…just 15 minutes from Exeter)!
  • The workshops will be within the Dartmoor National Park in Devon, England, using Acorn Lodge as a base and will be for all levels of photographers who want to learn real wildlife photography. The photography workshop package includes as much as possible to help you learn and improve all the aspects of being a wildlife photographer from using your camera, through the picture taking process, to the end image and post production workflow.
