Yelfords Cottage backs on to the moor, 2 miles from Chagford in a very peaceful setting with outstanding views, a superbly renovated, detached cottage with its own enclosed garden, in the 15 acre grounds of the owner’s country house and hidden by a high screen of rhododendrons.
Acorn Lodge is situated on the outskirts of Peter Tavy village near Tavistock in Devon and is within the Dartmoor National Park. It is a Bed and Breakfast with a difference as it is separate accommodation from the main house with it's own front door and has lots of space to relax and super facilities. It sleeps from 1 to 4 guests but is only ever booked to one party of family/friends so that you will always have the lodge completely to yourselves. We accommodate stays from one night to however long you wish to stay and single occupancy is also available. Continental Breakfast is available or a Full Devonshire Breakfast is cooked each morning for guests in the main house Conservatory, if required. Outside, guests have use of an enclosed and secure garden area with a "Beach Hut" Summerhouse, table and chairs. There is secure bicycle storage for guests bringing or hiring bicycles. So, whether you like to walk, cycle, horse ride, play golf, visit historical places and eat fantastic food there is plenty here to make your holiday enjoyable. The coasts of north and south Devon and Cornwall are also within easy reach and you will find a wealth of other activities and interests nearby. Bring your dog(s) and walk across the moor and bring your horse(s) and ride across the expanse of Dartmoor.

Providing low cost accommodation at the Plume of Feathers Inn (by the mini roundabout). It is open all year and can house up to 38. Rooms up to 10 sharing, plus sleeps 4 and sleeps 2. Share kitchen and toilet facilities. There is also a campsite at the back of the pub. I recommend that you BOOK WELL IN ADVANCE in the bunkhouse as it gets full in Summer with backpackers from all over the world.

Primrose Cottage is a detached thatched, Grade II listed cottage situated next the the churchyard in Drewsteignton. Inside it is surprisingly light and has some pretty furnishings. The two bedrooms are up some steep stairs - 1 double and 1 twin. Nice and convenient for The Drewe Arms pub.
Townend Barn, sleeps 2 and is an elegant cottage from which to explore the magical wilderness of the highest tors.
Dial House Cottage is located just half a mile from the centre of Chagford. It is a detached cottage located down a shared private drive near the owners' house. A delightful place to stay.
7 holiday lets on a working farm near Moretonhampstead. You'll find the makings for a cup of tea on your arrival (3pm onwards) then if it is summer why not take a dip in the outdoor heated pool and meet fellow guests? Sleeping from 2 to 6, these cottages are 'all in' which means no hidden extras to fork out for. You can safely walk into town via footpath from the farm. Our accommodation is open all year and lovely and warm in winter thanks to our biomass boiler central heating throughout. Wood burners in some of the accommodation too.

Water Barn is situated on the edge of Manaton and is an exceptional conversion of an ancient granite barn into a spacious cottage in a beautiful place. Peaceful, sheltered, it is on a lane in an hamlet of old cottages, farmhouses and trees, just 400 yards from Manaton's pub and about half a mile walk through woods from Lustleigh Cleave and the River Bovey.
The Linhay is set in a small courtyard of converted farm buildings. To the rear there is a granite-walled enclosed garden with patio (the artist neighbour does have access through the garden to a small studio). In total you can enjoy the 5 acres to wander. Inside has been carefully furnished with lovely fabrics, colours and many original paintings which all helps to provide a restful retreat. Best for a maximum of 3 people as it has 1 double and 1 single. Perfect for walkers
