Primrose Cottage is a detached thatched, Grade II listed cottage situated next the the churchyard in Drewsteignton. Inside it is surprisingly light and has some pretty furnishings. The two bedrooms are up some steep stairs - 1 double and 1 twin. Nice and convenient for The Drewe Arms pub.
A wonderfully comfortable house for the bed and breakfast visitor. From the beautiful garden with stunning view, to the well sized bedrooms. Great farmhouse cooking at breakfast and evening meals.
The Elephant's Nest Inn is a quintessentially English - and Devonshire - country pub. The 3 generously sized en-suite B&B rooms are located in a newly built extension. Beautifully furnished with solid oak floors and under floor heating, all rooms have large Vi-Spring beds, soft goosedown duvets and pillows and luxurious soft furnishings. Being located in as remote a place as it is, great emphasis is placed on good food, although the pretentious 'gastro pub' description will not be heard here! The garden at the Nest is a 'must see'.
This corner-terrace chalet is situated in a block of similar properties on a family holiday park in Dawlish Warren, on the South Devon coast. This Dawlish holiday cottage will appeal to families wanting a convenient and safe holiday location near the coast, with on-site entertainment and a comfortable base to return to after an active day on the beach.
Totally Dartmoor. Small privately run bed and breakfast couldn't be more central on Dartmoor. An excellent choice for walkers. Home made evening meals in the dining room, and I know that the food is good. Dogs are very welcome to stay too. They are used to taking people 'off the road' who want to stay overnight, and then stay on for longer and longer. I'm not at all surprised.
Harford Bunkhouse & Camping offers comfortable budget accommodation on the edge of South Dartmoor. An ideal choice if you are planning to start the Two Moors Way walk from south to north. Run alongside a working Dartmoor farm, the bunkhouse (which can sleep up to 50) offers dormitory style accommodation with bunk beds in each of the rooms. A kitchen, large seating area, toilets and showers are all within the bunkhouse.
The campsite is divided between two of the farm’s meadows. Campers can use the toilets and showers located within the bunkhouse buildings. These sleep up to 6 people each and have the same facilities as camping. Small campfires in the provided fire pits and BBQs are allowed at the farm’s discretion. Children and dogs welcome (dogs must be kept on a lead at all times).

Ideal location for walkers and after a long day walking enjoy the fare at the local pubs, or take advantage of the local produce and meat that the owners sell (organic meat, eggs, preserves and cakes).

This delightful detached split-level barn conversion that can sleep up to 8, + baby/small child, nestles next to the church in Mary Tavy. The tranquil setting is only a few minutes walk from the River Tavy and the breathtaking rugged beauty of Dartmoor, and in the other direction, a good pub with delicious food. There are lovely walks from the cottage, and from the car if you drive over the moors. The accommodation offers a double bedroom, a double/twin (zip-linked), and a twin room, plus double sofabed with everyday-use mattress, and a cot/small bed. There are 2 bathrooms: - The main bathroom with a shower over the bath, and the small bathroom, which has a corner toilet and studio bath, is built into the eaves of the house. Sloping ceilings and dormer windows give a clue to its former use as a row of barns. All bed linen and towels provided free. Oil CH/HW included, and free WiFi. The sunken patio has furniture and BBQ, and there is a second raised patio with table and chairs, as well as a bike storage area. Guests are very welcome to use the owners' garden. We are very dog friendly, and pets are free-of-charge. Enjoy the peace, watching the birds feeding at the bird table in the mornings, and gazing at the stars on a clear night, perhaps while enjoying a glass on wine on the sunken patio. Away from the Barn, there is lots do in this lovely area of Devon, from theme parks to waterfalls, castles to cream teas, ponies to steam railways and boat trips, gardens to zip-wires or canoeing. Route 27 of the Sustrans Coast to Coast cycle route is right outside the gate, and the track leading to the bridge over the river Tavy is also a bridle path. Bikes can be hired locally, and there are riding stables on the edge of the village for novice or experienced riders to enjoy the beautiful scenery from the saddle. There is something for everyone!

Moorland walks taking in stunning Haytor Rocks, ponies and buzzards are straight from the gate. High quality dining in the restaurant or opt for the Blue Tiger, a bistro with sun terrace offering the hotel's own smoked meat platters, dips, cheese or beef fondues and sushi selections.
