Lowertown Farm, a 93 acre working farm sits nestled in a valley in the heart of Dartmoor, where a peaceful walk can take you from the top of Blackator to the banks of the River Dart through gorgeous wooded paths and winding country lanes. When Luke and Hannah Fursdon opened a Bed and Breakfast in their 500 year old farmhouse in 2009, these were just some of things they were excited to share with guests. Others include a passion for activities such as diverse as horseback riding and kayaking as well as the joy of getting up close to the animals raised at Lowertown. In 2014 Lowertown began serving it’s very own farm reared bacon and sausages as part of it’s hearty and traditional full English breakfast, complete of course with farm fresh eggs.
